Our Story So Far...
From humble beginnings to national reach.
We started very small, working directly with local business owners, restaurant operators, and neighborhood “mom and pop” shops across Brooklyn. None of them had unlimited budgets, in-house marketing teams, or the time to learn things themselves, but they all knew they needed to be morse present online. So we helped them.
It all started back in 2014, on the streets of Brooklyn with social media and a simple idea.
We initially launched as “The Social Media Gurus,” a tiny operation with a big (but simple) mission: to help local businesses enhance their online presence without paying exorbitant agency prices they couldn’t afford.
We spent our early years walking through the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, meeting with local shop owners in Williamsburg, restaurant operators in Bay Ridge, small business owners in Park Slope, and people all across the borough who needed a digital presence but didn’t exactly know how or where to start.

We grew up. Creative Visions Digital Media Group was born.
Three years in, we knew social media services alone weren’t enough for the businesses we were working with. They needed more. They needed websites. They needed to show up in search. They needed a full digital foundation, not just a consistent posting schedule.
Along the way, we also saw how too many agencies overcomplicated things, leaving too many business owners feeling confused or, even worse than that, ignored.
So we expanded our capabilities and rebranded as Creative Visions Digital Media Group. We built the company differently on purpose: clear communication, transparent pricing, honest recommendations, and consistent follow-through. This is also the year that some of our longest-running client relationships began, partnerships built in Brooklyn that are still going strong nearly a decade later.
A new chapter began. We left New York City for something a little... greener. Literally.
At the end of 2020, we made a personal decision. After years of helping businesses in one of the most competitive markets in the entire world, we moved upstate New York, which is about as far from Brooklyn as you can get without actually leaving the state.
What we immediately discovered was a market full of genuinely good people and good businesses with almost no quality digital marketing to support them. Fortunately, that gap was something we already knew how to close.
New roots. Expanded reach.
After planting ourselves firmly in the south central region of New York state, we quickly started building working relationships the same way we always had: face to face, one business at a time, figuring out pain points and solutions on a case by case basis.
Our client base expanded naturally from there. Binghamton, Elmira, Cortland, Syracuse, the Hudson Valley region, Westchester, and back down to New York City, where we never really stopped working.
Around this time we also transitioned to a 99% remote model, which let us serve these markets without ever sacrificing the attention that’s always defined how we work.
Nine years in. Sharper than ever.
In 2026 we made a deliberate decision to go deeper rather than broader. That meant offering fewer services, but doing the ones we’re keeping exceptionally well. Clearer pricing. More deliberate conversations about what businesses need versus what agencies typically try to sell them.
After over a decade of doing this the one thing that’s taught us what works and, just as importantly, what doesn’t. That’s why we’ve rebuilt our entire model around outcomes. We still serve clients from New York state and beyond, but we do it the same way we always have. One business at a time, with real attention and real accountability.
